• You must be a registered member of Mnet Korea. If you are not, follow our Registration at Mnet tutorial to register.
• I have no problem using Mozilla Firefox for my purchase, but if you encounter any issues, i.e. pages not displaying, please use Internet Explorer.
• Credit card is the ONLY payment method available for foreigners (i.e. no PayPal).

How to purchase a usage coupon…

1. Go to http://www.freeproxylists.net/ or http://hidemyass.com/proxy-list/ to locate an IP address and its port in Korea. **PLEASE ALWAYS GO BACK TO THESE 2 SITES FOR THE MOST UPDATED PROXY SERVERS BECAUSE THEIR LIST IS CONSTANTLY UPDATING AND THE ONE YOU’VE USED BEFORE MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE ANYMORE**
2. Use that Korean IP address and port as your proxy server. *If you don’t use a proxy server the following error message will pop up, “The purchase of any product outside of Korea is prohibited. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused.” when you try to make the purchase. To change the proxy setting on your browser: Google Chrome – Customize and control Google Chrome > Options > Under the Hood > Network > Change proxy settings… > LAN Settings… > Check the “Use a proxy server” box > Insert IP address and Port in the boxes and click “OK” Mozilla Firefox – Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Settings… > Select “Manual proxy configuration” > Insert IP address in the HTTP Proxy box and Port > Check the “Use this proxy server for all protocols” box and click “OK” Internet Explorer – Tools > Internet Options > Connections > LAN settings >  Check the “Use a proxy server” box > Insert IP address and Port in the boxes and click “OK”
3. Go to the Usage Coupon Purchasing Page and log in on the top

Click 이용권구매 (Usage Coupon Purchase) on the top

Select the coupon that you would like to purchase. You can only purchase the “Streaming + MP3” coupon or the “Streaming” coupon with a time period. *Songs downloaded with a “Streaming + MP3” coupon are NOT in mp3 format and play on certain portable devices only (I only recognize Apple iPod, certain models of Samsung and LG on the list), so I highly recommend you to purchase the “Streaming” coupon. If you would like to boost the digital sales further by downloading, you may still purchase the “Streaming + MP3” coupon or go here for the instruction of downloading songs in mp3 format.

Click the 구매하기 (Buy) button of your choice and a new window will pop up. It gives you the details of your purchase (i.e. Time frame, Reminder, etc.). If everything is correct, click 다음 (Next) at the bottom. *It should NOT say “별도의 해지 신청을 하지 않으면 매월 자동 연장됩니다.” here. If it does, it means that you selected a wrong coupon so please pick another one.

Select 해외신용카드 (Foreign Credit Card), check the last box “I Agree to the Terms and Conditions” and click 다음 (Next) at the bottom

Fill in your credit card number and its expiry date. Then click 결제히기 (Checkout) at the bottom

Your purchase is now completed. Click 완료 (Finish) to close the window

• Now you are able to stream full songs/MVs/shows on Mnet Korea!

Reminder…

• Some fandoms suggest that the only way for the streaming count towards the charts is to do it through MPlayer. If you prefer to stream with MPlayer please see our Streaming on MNET Player tutorial for more info.
• Some K A+ also suggest that only streaming in Korea counts towards the charts, so you may change to a Korean proxy server before your stream if you wish.
